Sons of the Legion

ATTENTION ALL MALE POST 229 POST MEMBERS

You may or not know of my desire to form a SAL Squadron in our post. In order to form one, it is a similar process as forming a new post itself.

I will need at least ten eligible people to be Charter Members, and make application for a charter. American Legion post members can be "Dual" members,

meaning they can be both a Legionnaire and a SAL member. After obtaining the charter we can then recruit members from outside the post who qualify to be members of our SAL Squadron.

Having a SAL Squadron in our post is a great way for us to honor our Fathers and Grand Fathers, and to gain new members,

as SAL Members.
